Blade Runner cooling units
Made at High Desert Test Sites, Joshua Tree, California, 2024
Blade Runner Cooling Units consists of twelve scalable, modular ceramic prototypes equally inspired by prehistoric technologies for passive cooling and the architecture of Californian Frank Lloyd Wright, extensively featured in sci-fi. Made of earth and heat and with a potential for cooling, these units sit at the intersection of ancient and dystopian architecture, past and future colliding.
